Dr. A. Nyland spent her time on Faculty at the University of New England, Australia, teaching ancient grammar and ancient history. She is the best selling translator of such books as The Complete Books of Enoch and author of What Were the Watchers? as well as Nephilim and Giants. Unable to use the PA system, the cabin crew were constantly on the move, reassuring the 247 passengers as the aircraft dropped for agonising minutes towards the mountains. Only later was the cause of the engine stoppage revealed, and the incident thereby made aviation history. Simple enough for the layman to understand, and engaging for the professional alike - you really get the feeling of what it's like to be on that warm dark flightdeck miles above the earth when the unthinkable happens.
That he was 'just doing his job' is testament alone to this humble man.

An excellent in-depth resource

Well written, easy to understand and this would be an ideal addition to high school and college resource centers. The book has value for all ages and stages of life. The author's website has been used extensively at our house and helped our son overcome some of his anxieties in social groups. As parents it gave us greater insight and was a great starting point for conversations. Happy to see that he wrote this book!

Realistic answers to succeed socially

This book won't tell you things like "be a good listener and interested in people" to make friends. It will not give vague answers like most social articles out there do. This book comes with direct answers to any social question I have ever had.

Most of the information in the book is from the author's website, and it has helped transform me from an awkward, quiet, anxious person into someone who is comfortable conversing with anyone and who can easily make friends. I mostly bought this book to support the author and say thanks. The information has changed my life and can change yours too.

This volume provides an excellent overview of the current hot debates in philosophy of art. Each topic is treated in sufficent depth to engage a graduate student with background in aesthetics, and yet the topics treated provide a sampler platter for those new to the discipline. An excellent read overall.
